FAQ

- What materials are used to make the Brasero Artisan ?

All our Brasero are made entirely by hand. For the design of the cooking plate we use 12mm thick S235 steel.

The cooking grid is made of stainless steel.

The 3mm thick pan is painted at 550 degrees for a long life.

Its storage cabinet is painted black or covered with raw corten steel.

- Is the Brasero Artisan portable ?

The option of castors available on all our models makes it easy to move around on any flat surface.

- Can my Brasero Artisan be left outside ?

No. Its robustness allows it to resist corrosion, temperature differences and bad weather.

The quality of the Brasero Artisan materials does not require that your equipment be stored indoors between seasons.

- What is the maintenance of a Brasero Artisan ?

After each use it is advisable to brush the griddle and the grill to remove any residue and push it directly back into the firebox.

Then wipe both surfaces with a cloth oiled with natural oil. Wipe off the excess with another cloth. Oiling the Artisan Brazier nourishes the steel and ensures that the food does not stick to it during the next cooking.

- Which accessories are compatible with the Brasero Artisan ?

For your grilling you can choose our 8cm and 16cm high cooking grids.

Our lid with its oak handle is perfect to cover and protect your cooking space when not in use.

Our brazier cabinet is drilled on both sides so that you can attach oak side handles to make it easier to move.

Finally, you can add a drawer kit to create a storage unit.

- How much space does the brazier need in operation ?

Its footprint is 50 x 50 centimetres. Its maximum height is 110cm.

When you use your Brasero Artisan, allow 1m square to circulate around it and that nothing is less than 3m away from the combustion chamber.
